Sanatan Tatvam ("we", "our", or "the app") provides an authentic, serene reading companion for reciting Hindu Aartis and sacred stutis. We hold the deepest reverence for your privacy and spiritual contemplation.

This Privacy Policy outlines our strict privacy practices in complete adherence to the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement, Google Play Data Safety Policies, COPPA, and international data privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA).

The application does NOT collect, harvest, store, share, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Specifically, we do NOT request or collect:

• Personal Identity: Full name, email address, physical address, phone number, or government-issued credentials.
• Location Data: Neither precise GPS nor coarse network-derived geographical coordinates.
• Device & Network Identifiers: IMEI, MAC addresses, Android Device ID, IP addresses, or Google Advertising ID (GAID).
• User Content & Media: Contact lists, photos, videos, stored files, or web browsing history.

Sanatan Tatvam operates strictly as an Offline Devotional Text Reader. In Phase 1, microphone hardware access is entirely disabled and no audio recording permission (RECORD_AUDIO) is utilized.

The application never captures, processes, listens to, or transmits ambient audio, spoken prayers, or vocal chants.

All customization preferences chosen inside the app—including:

• Display mode (Devanagari Hindi, Roman Transliteration, or Simultaneous Both)
• Devotional English verse meanings toggle (Show/Hide)
• Visual theme choice (System Default daylight/night, Temple Light, Deep Slate Dark)
• Custom font scaling percentage (85% to 140%)
• Bookmarked favorite Aartis

are saved strictly within your physical device's private, sandboxed Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and is inaccessible to other applications.

Sanatan Tatvam is designed for devotees of all ages, including families and young learners. We strictly comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policies.

Because the app contains no tracking, no user registration, and no data collection whatsoever, children can safely explore scriptural hymns without any risk of digital profiling or data exposure.

The application integrates the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK to display respectful banner advertisements that support ongoing maintenance and spiritual content additions. Google AdMob may process device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID / GAID) and diagnostic data for ad serving, fraud prevention, and performance analytics pursuant to Google's Privacy Policy.

Devotional Integrity: Sensitive ad categories including gambling, alcohol, dating, and adult content are strictly blocked.

You hold complete control over your local preferences at all times:

• In-App Reset: Navigate to Settings > Google Play Compliance > tap "Reset Local App Data & Preferences" to immediately wipe all bookmarks and restore factory defaults.
• Operating System Erasure: Clear local cache and storage at any time via Android Settings > Apps > Sanatan Tatvam > Storage > Clear Storage, or uninstall the app to permanently delete all local preferences.

The application declares android:usesCleartextTraffic="false" to prohibit unencrypted network transmissions and isolates all preferences within Android's protected application sandbox.

By downloading, installing, or reading hymns on Sanatan Tatvam ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use.

Sanatan Tatvam is provided as a non-commercial, spiritual service dedicated to authentic Aarti recitation, scriptural literacy, and devotional contemplation. There are no subscriptions, paywalls, in-app purchases, or advertisements.

The sacred devotional texts, chhandas, dohas, and stutis included within the application—such as Om Jai Shiv Omkara, Jai Ganesh Deva, Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki, Jai Ambe Gauri, Om Jai Jagdish Hare, Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki, Om Jai Lakshmi Mata, and Shri Ram Chandra Kripalu—derive from timeless Indian spiritual heritage, classical saints, and traditional authoritative editions (including public domain releases aligned with Gita Press, Gorakhpur traditions).

These ancient verses belong to the universal spiritual heritage of humanity.

Deity Visuals: Deity portraits are inspired by traditional classical Indian sacred art traditions (including the public domain artistic heritage of Raja Ravi Varma) and devotional iconography.

Proprietary Assets: The original application source code, custom typographic layout engines, proprietary brand geometry (the Sanatan Tatvam logo, radiant lotus mark), and digital arrangements remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Sanatan Tatvam Initiative.

Users are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-commercial license to use the app for personal prayer, temple recitations, family satsangs, and spiritual study. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or commercial redistribution of the binary package is strictly prohibited.

Sanatan Tatvam complies with Google Play Families Policies and COPPA. The app is rated Everyone / All Ages. To support continuous hosting, development, and spiritual feature additions, respectful banner advertisements are displayed via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Sensitive categories including gambling, alcohol, dating, and adult content are strictly blocked.

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While meticulous care has been exercised to ensure scriptural accuracy across Devanagari and Roman transliterations, the developers make no representations regarding absolute typographical infallibility or uninterrupted availability on all hardware configurations.

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Sanatan Tatvam developers and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application.
